I’d say the first 25 mins we were clearly the better team. We sat off, our high press stopped and we got deeper and deeper and probably invited the equaliser

That’s two corners in the first minute of each half where we were so close to scoring. 1 off the line then a de gea reflex

How we could do with a player like Fernandes at Arsenal. Really miss that type of vision and precision

Change it now.

Lacazette and saka.

Otherwise we will concede in the next 15

What I love about these games is they remind me of why I hate Man Utd more than any other club. Would also take a draw, but if we can get a win and ruin any momentum for them after a good result against Chelsea it would be perfect in many ways.

Was just about to post this is looking ominous. It's looking worse now. Let's see what we're made of can we turn this around?

Can’t help think Tavares gung ho nature might have cost us 2 goals at anfield and old Trafford.

It’s got to be defence first at these places

Can't see that he looks subdued to me, not making the runs or trying to get forward.

With Aubameyang a passenger we need someone to make them work for the ball not give them time and space to set up their own moves.

Ooh. Horrible there from Tavares. Perhaps it’s time for Tierney to resurface?

I think it might be worth getting Tierney on.

Yep I’d bring on Tierney around about now. He hasn’t been exactly rampaging forward giving us a lot in attack either.

They know they can get behind Tavares, if it’s coming it’s coming from that side. Doesn’t make him a bad player but that’s the issue

Ah. VAR in operation for their penalty but not ours.

Correct decision though.

NO PEN.

United players left leg went across Ødegaard.

Bit naive from Ødegaard there. Bollocks. Let's get after them.

Why was VAR used here and not when Tomiyasu was clearly hauled down by McQuire?

I think that’s all you wrote folks.

You just can’t do dumb *%^@ like that in these games. Feel a bit sorry for Ødegaard who has done well

Because Fred was about to play the ball. It means they can’t ignore it. If Gabriel trips Ronaldo in the other corner of the box you bet they’re ignoring it if the ref misses it. I’ve seen it quite a lot now. Unless the ball is landing on your head they won’t interfere with those in the box haul down jobs.

I meant that the penalty for them was the correct decision.

But we should also have had the benefit of VAR. That was not a good decision.

Now would be a good time for Aubameyang to start earning his salary again.
