Plenty of time. It’s not actually that bad Granit got caught out of position but can’t be blamed he’s doing his best. Passing could be quicker though

Like what? How about adjusting the subbuteo players standing stationary in midfield.

Granit should never have been back there. He got badly exposed last time so why is he there.

Because he played better than Tavares after we subbed him. Quite simple really

At worst is online with GK. Come on VAR, don't screw with us.

Yeah that's offside. 45 minutes to turn this around now.

So ripping him out of midfield which is now a complete mess makes sense does it?

Come on Arteta, get your boys more charged up.
We don't need VAR or the referee to stop us winning this one.
We have enough quality to come out fighting with confidence.

The Polish commentators very clear. If it takes that long to make a decision and there isn't a clear offside the goal should stand.

Didn't see any definitive proof Martinelli was closer to the goal than Cuccurella, whose position was obscured. How do they overturn the original decision under those circumstances?

Arteta is managing like Wenger at the moment. If you have multiple players out then you reduce the number of changes. Not make even more.

Xhaka to lb out of position, odegard to cm out of position alongside an inexperienced lakonga.

*%^@*** Elneny would have been better to at least do the basics in midfield.

If there is any doubt then var is supposed to rule in favour of the attacking team.

It should be clear and obvious to overturn the decision from the ref. Hard to see how this fits the criteria.

I agree, Elneny may be boring but he doesn't give the ball away and can at least keep the ball moving

Not sure what the sniggering is about, unfortunately its true. We've no central midfield and our transitions are far too slow and predictable.

Just goes to show that being at the stadium doesn't mean you have any clue about how teams actually work.

We're basically asking Lokonga, a player who has barely gotten a minute the past few months, to hold the midfield alone against three Brighton players. It's tactical suicide and means we have no control of the game.

Not there today. I flew in too late last night to be able to attend. If I had gone I’d be supporting the team

The Premier League have reassessed the use of VAR with changes set to come for the upcoming season that will favour attackers regarding offsides but do away with soft penalties

Deflection 101 bolles. Xhaka back to midfield so apparently those non supporters know more than you about what was going on.

Better start to the second half, moving the ball quicker and running with more purpose.

Or it’s just about trying different combinations to see if they work whilst a bunch of divs lose it on the internet.

Martinelli at left back. Risky, but I suppose we have to take risks.

Has Lacazette contributed to anything yet?

Stevie Wonder could see we needed to move Xhaka back into the middle.

I think Arteta has told Lokonga to be braver, and not worry about making mistakes. He is moving it forward now.

Haha utter twaddle. I said before the match that changes should be minimised and that moving xhaka to lb was a bad idea. You've got not idea and continue to try and deflect the argument.

Eddie on for Smith-Rowe, who has struggled today.

Stevie seems to see more than Top Gun who apparently thought that starting Xhaka at lb was the right choice.

It’s not an argument I don’t think it was working and he changed it. However it was a logical choice as Tavares was abysmal last week we were better when xhaka went there. Trying different things

It’s truly embarrassing to listen to the bleating.
