Another foul throw. I just refuse to believe we’re the only team who do this!

He doesn't strike me as the sort.

Not very likely that he’d wait until the game had started to fake it. Not remotely credible.

Hope vieira can start in influence this game but you’d expect Zinchenko would step into the space. Leaving that space in behind him is playing into their game plan somewhat.

100 percent. We are using him as an extra midfielder but they could catch us

Not really looking like scoring, we need to step up the intensity in the second half. Worried that we could get caught with a sucker punch.

Just a kick around the park for the boys. Not doing anything exceptional.

Oof, no shots on target that half. Martinelli Saka nor Jesus looking like they’re near their defender terrifying best. Just need a goal from someone and lock it up at the back. Not sure how we’re going to get that security at the back tbh. Maybe Tierney to come on later.

Hook Vieira. Move Zinchenko to left mf. Bring on Tierney.

Tough for vieira but I’d agree. Not sure Zinchenko has 90 minutes in his legs.

Very pedestrian.

That Traore was very lucky to not get a second yellow card just before that goal

Heard some thoughts this morning that you could see some upsets this weekend as the big teams have so many players at the World Cup who would be heavily focussed on protecting themselves a week before the start of the World Cup.

Do footballers ever wear protection for the gentleman’s area? GK’s surely must be at more risk. I’d wear a cup if I was in goal that’s all I’m saying.

Adama was trying to get a red for Gabriel. He would have rolled all the way to the touch line if he could

To be fair, he was travelling at quite the lick.

Even if you do, it still hurts. I remember being hit in the box in a cricket match :1cry:

But surely a cricket ball to unprotected goolies would have been carnage?? Or was it a googly you just misjudged?

We’re sharing the goals around. So good to see, not reliant on a single source of goals.

This second half has been managed so brilliantly

The circumstances are lost in the mist of time.

A third goal would calm the nerves.
