How many penalty shouts has var denied us today? 4 or 5 is it?

We’ve already had two apologies from the PGMOL which cost us points

Var is costing us a fair shot at the title here

6 minutes added time. Utter joke

They’re just legitimising cheating, it is the easiest tactic to get away with week in week out

Officials seemingly trying to level the playing field in such a one sided contest is so frustrating

When will a ref ever be brave enough to send off a gk for two yellows for time wasting. The first yellow is meaningless because they’re just allowed to keep doing it

I was saying that a few minutes ago to my son. Also shouldn't there be a time limit for the goal keeper to hold the ball. I thought they had 6 seconds a while back.

Not for any handball did they send the ref to the monitor. Not one. Ridiculous. It’s narrative isn’t it. They get the early goal and it sets the tone and the referee just plays along. This is exactly was VAR is supposed to counter. .

Can we have a gentlemen’s agreement that no more talk of strolls in the park or spreadsheets of games we should win, lose or draw. Clearly we will have to fight like dogs for every point no matter who we’re playing against.

31 shots and 81% possession.

A bit worrying going forward with Jesus, Eddie, and Trossard all injured. Martinelli does look lively enough to play in the middle.

Credit to Bournemouth, they defended like it was the battle for Stalingrad. I can't blame their fans for feeling hard done by with the extra time if I were in their shoes but that's football. We've been on the receiving end more than I care to remember.

Let's enjoy it and just have to take it one game at a time.

Makes sense to me. I learned that lesson early in life when going to Wembley to see us play Swindon.

And whilst everyone remembers us getting a famous league win at Anfield in 1989 few recall how we got ourselves into that desperate situation having been clear with four games to go and some ‘easy’ fixtures with home games against Derby and Wimbledon.

What do I know eh? Shouldn’t ever doubt this team.

Up to that point we just hadn’t worked the gk enough. Anything we created was just getting easily blocked and headed away by 3 narrow CB who lap that kind of stuff up.

What surprised me was how calm Reiss-Nelson's reaction after the goal.

I'd forgotten that Wimbledon game. Conceded a last minute equaliser and it felt like we'd blown it :laughing7: :laughing7:

Whilst Nelson rightly takes the headlines and played really well in the circumstances Ramsdale was probably the man who won the game for us with several astounding saves.

People will say Bournemouth deserved something from the game - which isn’t a crazy thing to say but you can’t say that Arsenal didn’t deserve to win with the amount of the game we had and dominated

It should have been a lot more than 6 minutes, we scored almost bang on 97:00 on the clock but their player went down injured just as the board went up for 6 minutes and was down for between 60-90 seconds before the game restarted
