Bournemouth about to set new records for time wasting.

Tomiyasu needs to be doing more to support Saka for me. Few more overlaps and decoy runs.

Bournemouth getting all pissy with their player down. He went down just before their counterattack.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all well and of course very happy with Arsenal's latest results!
Our Grandson ( Steve's Nepfew ) is flying to London at this moment, he is an
Arsenal supporter ( of course ) and will go to a few games, in the old days there
used to be a meeting place for the Forumites, at the Emirates ground during/after
the games. Does that still exist? If it does, please let me know where it is?
He would like to meet and greet the people who share his uncle's Forum!
He is a 20 ( almost 21 ) year old very enthusiastic young man!
All the best to everyone,
Warm regards
Judith

Can anybody help Judith with this one about a meetup place for everyone ?

Hi Rog

I believe what you are asking for is the “101” bar located within the stadium where a few of the forum members gathered before and during the match but I have no idea if any of the current group of forum members continue with that practice. I’m sure someone out there would have more current knowledge about it. I’m pretty sure Bernard was a regular goer so someone must know.

That’s not where the ball hit that picture is deceptive. It was mid upper arm. Which is a pen still.

You can't take anything for granted in this league.

Because the ref didn’t give it. Literally if he had shorter sleeves on VAR would have given it, to be a “clear and obvious” error it needs to be elbow or lower I reckon.

Only been listening to it on the radio but having lost Trossard it feels like we are struggling to create good chances against a parked bus.

Sums it up.

Post subject:  Re: Supporters Forum

The had the exact thing they needed to make that half as difficult as possible for us in the earliest of early goals. So *%^@*** annoying. We aren’t hitting Saka or Martinelli well enough early and with quality. Tomiyasu looks half a step behind and that’s all it takes to not have the overlap against a 5 (or 10) man defence. Trossard off has seriously made it worse.

What can we do subs wise? White and Xhaka on??

Post subject:  Re: Supporters Forum

Huge 45 ahead, nothing really from the bench. White on for Tomiyasu would improve is as he’s looked very rusty.

Got to work the gk more, serious lack of actual saves he’s had to make

Conceding such a soft goal is so stupid. You can't switch off for 1 second in this league.

That is true. Parked bus and time wasting and any shithousery they can muster up.

This game is going to set all sorts of records
2nd earliest goal
Earliest point time wasting starts
Highest possession
Most corners

We have to win to stop any of those records meaning anything

Not having Nketiah as an option from the bench is a serious problem.

Yeah that was a pen. The commentator was using the evidence of Tomiyasu not making a fuss as evidence for it not being a foul. He’s just Japanese. Makes you realise being a whining prick on the field reaps dividends and says a lot about the game and refereeing.

This is where you play for a pen in my book. Don’t dove but get touches in the box and take a kick. Sal needs to be just inside the edge of the area as he receives it multiple times.

Post subject:  Re: Supporters Forum

Zero aerial threat.

Author:  Rich [ Sat Mar 04, 2023 4:02 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Supporters Forum

Also 2 minutes added time. You can add 1 min for the goal and celebrations, a bit more for a var check, 30 seconds for a sub and 30 for an injury. So essentially the officials are saying there was zero time wasting in that half that warranted any extra added time

Agreed. Start putting pressure on the ref. More dribbles and touches in the box

The longer it goes without us equalising, the more likely they are to get one on break. Billings and Solanki are dangerous.
