Thanks Steve, I'll try that until (or if) Rog can sort it out. How do I get my old Dalek avatar back?

Rog ..

Well, it didn't bring back my old avatar...
I tried to upload from my computer and from the site I first found it on and the message was the same.... too big, too many pixels. Is there a way around this? :?

I have modified the entry link to this area so it goes to the top of the last postings page.

That may be as close as I can get it for now. The main PhpBB forum is very active and many people have this same (or a similar) request.

There seemed to be a mod for it but it was only released today and was a beta version. I might wait until they have looked into this a bit more. This beta version also loaded information into the database which was a tad scary.

Rog ..

From the worst kind of fan who does not see the big picture :!:

The unbeaten season had a 0-0 draw with Birmingham on the run in! We stole a Home point off Portsmouth that year as well, though it really was Pires who did.

We had the best christmas of any top team, with United losing to WHU and now we drew at home against a very organised Birmingham, and sometimes these results are a good thing as they remind the players that anything less than your best and any premiership team can do this.

the disappointemnt was tangible, and the players will respond for sure, just like United did after the WHU result.

Every team that wins the title will have these games, United have in each of theor wins, some poor performances at Home, but they always react, and that is more what we should look at, the next game, as that will tell you if anything is wrong at all, as watching the disappointment as they came off, you can see that the next game cannot come quick enough, so poor Fulham for me

For O and A levels, i was at aldenham school, small boarding school, striking distance from london colney, shenley where i gather arsenal train.

When i started there, story went that not long before, arsenal youth came to play our 1st Xl and thrashed aldenham 6-0, charlie george getting 4 or smthing. Just punched some searches in google to see if anything came up. None.

BUT....there were a couple of v recent pics of denilson helping run an arsenal soccer school there (arsenal.com link > http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?this ... er+schools ). Nice to find an arsenal connection to my old school and to see familiar buildings in the background (pic attached). The redbrick building was actually my House, Paulls House where I ate slept studied and drank for 5 and a bit years when 14-18 yrs old 1972-1978. The yellow brick building was the science labs. I love what google brings up when you search for smthing.

I have modified the skin so that in Internet Explorer, attachments and code posts no longer have a grey box around them. Firefox is Html compliant, it appears IE is not.

We were absolutely appalled by the away facilities, with too many people in too small a place for the toilets and the bar. But that can't detract from a wonderful day.

From Birmingham fan in the Observer today, thought our facilities were 'state of the art'

Sunderland look to be hitting form at the right time, with Kieran Richardson back , and netting a brace today against ANC syndrome hit Harry's boys.
Still, every cloud has a silver lining , so it's claimed, and having rejected Mad Mike Ashley's offer to drink from his poisoned chalice at the bar-codes, at least Harry didn't have to sit grim faced watching that 6-0 thrashing of the Geordie's last night at Sold Trafford , and then , even worse, have to suffer the indignity of having to share a bottle of plonk with the drunken jock afterwards to discuss it with him!

Bad news, however, this reemergence of Roy of the ravers side for the team at the lane ( that time forgot) just when they were being written off by many , they are calling in at spuds gaff next weekend. And , the expected 3 points, that the worried manager was anticipating, now look less than certain to be obtained.
Juan 'day' Ramos's stuttering side have a tough away game midweek at Reading in the FAC , and the strain of playing so many games in a short period is exposing them for the poseurs that they really are.
A far different cry this , from their top 4 challenge of the latterday Silly Jol time , when having been dumped out of the cups by lowly Grimsby and Leicester , it meant that the spuds only had to play 40 games that term. Who says then that crime doesn't pay!

Welcome to the real world Senor Ramos!

As advised I clicked user control panel to get my Dalek avatar back, but it took me to a screen where I couldn't see avatars mentioned. As Rog isn't around, can anyone who has got their avatar switched over to here tell me how to do it once you're in the user control panel?

1b. click user control panel
2. click profile (on left somewhere)
3. in profile, click edit avatar (still on left smwhere)
4. in middle top smwhere click browse. browse to that avatar image you want.
5. click 'submit'
6. you're done. :emoticon_mClapp:

AC Milan beat Napoli 5-2. Ronaldo got two, Kaka got the other. But the highlight of the night was young Pato scoring on his debut. There has been a lot of hype on the shoulders of the teenager, but he will be pleased with his first competitive game in Europe. He gives Milan some extra pace and dynasim up front that they have lacked this season. Walcott should take note.

If Walcott was played as a striker more often I think we'd see a similar thing. Playing Walcott on the wing is like playing Owen there. He just isn't suited to that position.
