Nice

Being the game is behind closed doors, the question needs to be asked how they got in?

I like it that Ryan distributes the ball out very quickly and decisively.

A closure for him before he leaves the Premier League.

Because he’s a complete turd of a player and couldn’t score in a brothel ?

We should never sign another player on loan again ever unless it’s a keeper because of an injury crisis.

There’s some going through the motions and acting taking place from not just him and I can’t understand why they let him take that free kick

No. I’ve been reflecting on that. He appears to be increasingly ordinary in recent matches. It’s great having talent but it does need to be put into effect.

Hopefully on Thursday.

I’d far rather that Martinelli scored, or Aubameyang. Far more use for the squad going forward.

Going to give the first 5 mins of 2nd half a miss. Catching the start of F1. Go Hamilton!

We do look better with forwards on the pitch. Shame that Arteta tried too hard to be clever and didn't play any in our most important game of the season last Thursday.

So now Xhaka has committed another possible yellow. Tenterhooks level just gone up again.

It’s like a reprise of Thursday. Surely Arteta must have learned from that.

If Arteta didn’t learn the lesson on Thursday he’s going to learn it again today. You get the feeling he’s a bit stubborn, but getting bitten twice in two games might just drum it into him!

Come on Arteta, make the substituition. Save Xhaka from a red card.

Is this where we are at. We have to sub these arseholes off because they have no professional competency yet Arteta gets blamed.

Mate you see managers do it all the time. It’s not too good for them.

Edit: or beneath them rather

Newcastle players will be taking every opportunity to get Xhaka his second yellow

Mass confusion will reign here as people won’t know how to be happy and angry and the same time.

I can't believe that team. Changes all over it's *%^@** ridiculous. If he loses this gamr imo he's toast.

33Ryan
2Bellerín
23David Luiz
6Gabriel
34Xhaka
25Elneny
8Ceballos
12Willian
11Ødegaard
35Martinelli
14Aubameyang

Substitutes
1Leno
7Saka
17Cédric Soares
18Partey
19Pépé
21Chambers
22Marí
30Nketiah
32Smith Rowe
Referee:
Mike Dean

This game is irrelevant. It's a training session/chance to rest certain players, with Thursday in mind. I don't like it a) because if we do lose its going to mess with the team's confidence and put Arteta under even more pressure between now and Thursday b) Xhaka: i. playing him twice a week is simply asking for trouble ii. Left back FFS. c) What is the point of playing Ceballos?

I think you are 100 percent correct but I can’t help but feel that is absolution for outright dickheadery on the part of the player. Some of the things we are seeing are *%^@*** outright stupid

Martinelli. Star. Lays it on a plate for Aubameyang.

And Ødegaard did good work in build up.
