Hilarious, love that goal. Fully deserved lead as well, we've been the better side.

Commentator wonders if Arsenal could ‘have done the right thing’ in the circumstances and not taken advantage.

Yeah right, after all the dodgy stuff that we’ve been on the end of up there.

That serves De Gea right for trying to fake an injury and get the game stopped when Man U were in trouble. He must have thought an arsenal player stepped on his heel. If it had been I have no doubt var would have used that as a reason to chalk it off

The goal seems to have fired them up, need to keep our heads cool here

I hadn’t considered that. I think that you’re right about that.

Honestly, looking at the replay I'm not even sure Smith-Rowe had noticed De Gea was lying down. I mean, I hope he did and scored anyway, but I'm not sure.

Yes this is where ‘old heads’ could take the sting out of the game slow it down, whatever. Of course we could just go and score again and job done.

This is going to be a battle. You can already see the ref reluctant to give us anything after the goal

Why should Arsenal give a goal back because the opposition are developed mentally disabled.

You could sense the commentary team desperate for an injustice.

If that’s at the other end there wouldn’t even be a debate

We can't string three passes together at the moment, just need to calm down. They're angry, not good

Great play Ødegaard that was a good chance for Martinelli

Well played by Martinelli and Ødegaard, if he had only poked it to Smith-Rowe it would've been a goal

Need to make it to half time so Arteta can get their heads right.

Seems we are in a lull.

Not putting enough pressure on them, they're among the worst teams in the league when it comes to beating the press

Ref evening things up by not spotting the penalty for us.

Why did VAR not see it?

My theory on those is that unless you’re about to play the ball they’re able to ignore them so do.

Maguire arm pull on Tomiyasu as clear as day, I can understand a ref not seeing it in real time as there’s a lot going on a set pieces but this is exactly what we were told VAR was for. Was there even a check? It’s absolutely ridiculous why it wasn’t reviewed or if it was why it wasn’t given!
These decisions decide games

Partey and Aubameyang have been pitiful. They are supposed to be the leaders. White was at fault for the goal - terrible pass out and then nowhere near his man. Overall I thought this was a pretty poor half of football against a woeful side who we are allowing to improve. Lack of ball retention, senior players just not performing and they are double marking some of our players. Arteta had better get this sorted.

After the goal I’d agree with you. Up until then we were the better side.

Yes I suppose it was even until then but after that we were like a school boy team against far superior opponents. Just losing possession all the time. I thought Partey and Aubameyang have been poor all game
