Poor game of football.

Two spuds booked for the price of one there.

Wow, so rarely see that from refs. Clear yellow for a swipe by Van der ven, played advantage and had to come back and card him, then in the advantage there is a clear pull back on an Arsenal player

Both spurs players in the book.

If this finishes 11 v 11 I'll be amazed.

Martinelli is both our best chance of a goal scoring chance and the lowest confidence, most out of form player in the squad. Might we see Sterling at some point?

I think some of the yellows have been warranted but the ref lost control a bit by being too fussy over some early yellows. He hasn’t managed the game.

They have 5 yellows. A good chance of turning one into red as things are going with this ref. Discipline key.

I agree, a red card beckons.
We must stay disciplined, can't afford anyone to be unavailable against City.

In settled and slow spurs attacking play we haven’t look troubled one bit. The only time spurs look dangerous is in transitions or where we’ve messed up playing out from the back.

In truth it’s quite a low quality game because of the intensity.

Someone is getting sent off this game. Tight game feels like it’s going to be decided by the ref

Needs to form a big part of the half time team talk. Very careful and disciplined for us but target those spuds on yellows - Udogie and Bentancur in particular- the first is rash and the second loves a pull back.

Knowing our luck Timber will get a second yellow for something silly.

Surely he needs to be subbed. Get zinchenko on

Anyone wanting a red card for that Timber tackle basically wants to end football. You’d never be allowed to bring your studs up for anything, Timber’s foot only even grazed Porro because or Porro kicking through to make the tackle!

They’re comparing it to the one Curtis Jones got a red for, now I think that was a pretty harsh red but the two are so different.
slow motion really doesn’t help here as sometimes simply putting your foot up to block a ball and then connecting with a shin makes it look like you’ve stamped down on the shin. Nonsense

Zinchenko isn’t in the squad. Liquors the on ply natural replacement- or you’re throwing in an inverted Lewis Skelly.

Got to tell Timber his team needs him for 45 more minutes, calm the hell down and don’t give the ref any excuse to give you a red because he will today.

Not sure I fancy Kiwior against Spurs pace up front.

Solanke has had a bit too much success against Saliba and Gabriel for my liking. Holding the ball up and winning free kicks and second balls

Redknapp is blatantly biased in favour of Tottenham. He's always like that.

Need to run at them and draw that additional yellow.

No Kiwior please
He is just not good enough for the big games

The problem for the ref in the second half is if he calls everything how he did in the first half someone will go

I think I'd bring on Sterling for Martinelli.

Arteta needs to respond to their substitutions. Partey & Jorghino will be too slow to match the speed of the new entrants.

Nice subs but Jorginho looks bushed.

I’m weirdly intrigued to see Sterling, even though he’s nailed on to have a very normal unspectacular 10.

Timber is very reassuring. A huge upgrade on our left side.

Take Saka off, he is too tired. We need fresh legs.
