It’s an absolute sitter. That’s the game right there.

Worst mix of slow and lax play and awful finishing

Wonder what the story is with Pépé. I've got more chance of getting a game than he does at the moment.

I realize manager's needs to cushion the blow for their teams after a poor performance, but if Arteta has a single positive word to say about this performance I'm going to lose it

A great goal. And I'll be honest we've been absolute *%^@ and don't deserve anything from this.

Sickener.

Xhaka doesn’t and can’t make the tackle because he picked up a silly yellow for a pull back earlier.

How have we lost to this shocking awful Everton team. Total lack of spirit, aggression and bravery…..double up with a dose of awful refereeing decisions and a open goal mids and there is the game

But you know what he wants to do, he did it for the shot on to the bar, we just let him come inside and shoot.

By the way show me any Arsenal player that can shoot from 25 yards as Gray did then?

That's the problem. Everton were on the floor and for the taking and we give them the kiss kf life. We have been piss poor from the go. Frankly I am thinking Mikel ain't the guy.

Why are we so poor?
Why do we keep losing ground when it seemed we could go higher?

Good grief. An open goal for Aubameyang.

He is dreadful.

We have managed to make one of the worst teams in the premiership look more than competitive. This performance is beyond inept and symptomatic of the manager. Like Lampard, Arteta is not up to it and managed to make a reasonably good set of players look entirely incompetent. We are the definition of how not to manage a football club. He has to go.

And in a perfect ending Aubameyang fails to get anywhere near hitting the proverbial cows arse. I need a drink.

One of our worst performances in a season where there's been plenty of them. Seems like every time we get a string of good performances and Arteta manages to build up some goodwill we revert to type and become absolutely dreadful again. Some have called us inconsistent but I disagree with that - in 15 games I count 4 or maybe 5 good performances. That's not inconsistent, that's consistently poor.

I don’t believe any other “top” team ( at least that’s what we used to be) would tolerate this kind of substandard performance. Get a real manager in

Lost 2 games in a row after leading. A lack of mental fortitude. Lack of leadership on the pitch.

two absolutely terrible finishes at the end from Nketiah and Aubameyang. I thought Ødegaard had two very good chances that were blocked when he should have got his shot away.

All round a totally dreadful night for us. Everton are an absolute shambles, but if you want a pick me up at home just play Arsenal because we'll be so passive that the smallest little tackle will get your home fans up for it - we won't win a tackle or second ball all night, you'll get the ref on your side and you can also be awful but you'll win if you just show 10% more determination than us.

We're continually handing the initiative to poor teams, we stand off, we're passive and we're uncommitted. When we play fast aggressive football we look ok- but we only do it in fits and starts in games. We're a completely cowardly team right now

Ødegaard was one of the better players for us today. He ran and ran.

Got to agree. He has to go.

It’s a shocking performance but we are 4 points off top 4 having got many tough away games out the way now with a string of winnable games coming up.

It sucks but just need to crack on and see where we are end of season.

Felt very familiar though and what’s happened to aubameyangs finishing I don’t know

We have all seen this movie.
You all knew they would level up.
Once again sit back and do nothing then only start playing when it's 1 1.
Tonight I lost total faith in Arteta.
As for Aubameyang.
Great chance again and *%^@* it up.
I'm absolutely seething.
Just want to shout and scream

Arteta's trademark game management. Passive and more defensive minded.

The problem for me is that I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel.

I can’t see how you build on this ragbag of a squad with players out of favour and mostly not good enough. As Rich as said, we are consistent as in we are consistently poor.

Was anybody surprised by this evening? I wasn’t. It fits the pattern.

Pathetic. Anyone that thinks this lot are on the right track under this manager isn't basing it on watching them play football.

Guess we single handedly saved Rafa's career

Those are the sort of games that do my head in. An Everton team who havent won in weeks. Devoid of confidence. Key players missing. We go one up and then go into a shell in the second half .............only start playing after they equalize....from our f..ing throwin...watch how many times we lose the ball from our throw- ins ...it's ridiculous

Add in a joke Mike Dean who should've issued two reds and I'm so aggravated. I'm starting to resent Arteta...his selection, tactics and man management

We were piss poor tonight against a team down on it's luck and we get nothing. Two trips to Lancashire in four days...twice we take the lead and both times end up with sweet f all..

I cant think of one player who deserves a shout out....maybe Tomiyasu for his attitude
