“He’s like a substitute teacher”

“he’s a librarian”

“we need a proper spurs man in charge”

etc etc

I don't want United to get any momentum, but Spurs putting together losing streaks after flattering early season is just so comforting and familiar. Long may it continue.

I have to say Tuchel dropping Myles because of a “lack of minutes” smacks of cuntery and posturing.

scored on his debut and is being highly utilised off the bench and trusted in games v Madrid. He’s going to get minutes and it feels a bit “interferency”

why are you doing that you stupid German prick!

:laughing7: :laughing7: Rationally, a draw is the best result I suppose so alls well that ends well.

I agree that it’s odd to set such a hard and fast rule - it’s obviously going to be ripe for inconsistency.
Do you want the best players or not?

6 points from 1st to 2nd and then 4 points separating 2nd to 11th.

If we can win and Liverpool and City draw it’s a huge weekend. Do our job and we’ll definitely pick points up on one of them.

When they need him he will back in the fold in minutes regardless of first team time

Team exactly as expected. No injured players returning. Merino up front.
Nwaneri, Dowman and Harriman-Annous the only attacking players on the bench

Really worried about this match.
Fearful we could drop points.
Their crowd will be well up for it.
Turn up with the right mentality and hopefully we will be ok

Absolutely. I can see us struggling to get a goal.

He seems to be deliberately confrontational. Dropping Bellingham, criticising Saka for his end product. Comes across as a right knob.

Chelsea are closer to the relegation zone than they are to us. Got to enjoy the little moments

These away 5:30 games where there is a clear underdog always worry me. Fever pitch crowd booing every touch and cheering every tackle, huge pressure on the ref and we know from experience these refs crumble in under that kind of combination. I fear the ref in these games far more than the opponent.

Set piece to win it again for us

100%

It’s capello stuff that was never going to work. I bet they all think he’s a prick

Normally a tough place to go this but for a change I’m reasonably confident.

Think their decent form recently might actually help us as they should be confident enough to try and play football

No injuries please.

Sunderland have the 2nd best defence in the league.

Would be such a boost to get of there with 3 points. Buy some time to get players back on the pitch.

Got mates up there. Wot an away trip that is.

Sunderland fly out of the box and pressing high. They aren’t going to rattle us or bum rush us. If they come onto us we’re going to do them.

Hefty elbow on Merino. Ballard lucky he got his head on that or that’s a pen and a clear yellow. They can say it’s an accident as much as they like but he knows exactly where merino’s head is and raises his elbow and hits him last second .

Camera on Xhaka for 10 seconds and hit spits 4 times. Why do footballers spit so much? I’ve been active all my life and played all manner of sports apart from having a stinking cold never have I felt the need to gob all over the place the whole time.

My favourite has always been the double tramps Hankey.

Not single double.

Tiger Woods was terrible for it.

Saka too. Timber is much more energetic on that side.

Yes I heard that. Unless there’s an epidemic of overactive salivary glands I don’t know about, it’s probably just behaviour passed on. They must lose a pint of saliva per match.

Very poor refereeing

Far too slack in getting yellows out for some overly aggressive challenges

Right, let’s see what you’ve got lads. It’s not been good enough really apart from the goal. Let’s arm wrestle this 2-1 then.
