No excuses today. I don’t care if we are away from home we are a better team and should be winning this. Theres players on big money who frankly need to step up here in particular messrs Martinelli, Merino and Rice plus a few others who owe us some performances.

I just don’t think I can deal with another performance where all our football is played in front of their defence.

I wish I had your confidence TG but I just don't trust us after recent results.
This isn't the Chelsea we hammered last season.
I'd start Odegaaard. We need him badly.

Remembrance sunday. Chin up soldier !

Both my grandads served. One with medals and honours plus it’s looking likely one of my kids might be too.

Do Rice and Saka HAVE to play for England during the break? Greece away maybe but against Ireland? If Rice has a broken toe he should be rested.

The problem is that Rice is indispensable to both club or country. He doesn’t get a rest. Ever. I think it’s hampering his performances

It's bound to. On a lighter note Spuds are only one point ahead of Manure. I'm amazed at how little focus there has been on how poor Spudz have been at times. A few more losses and Postecoglu is on thin ice.

Good line up but Arteta needs a plan for 60 mins onwards because Ødegaard is going to be gassed after an hour, maybe Rice as well if he’s carrying an injury. Both white and timber have broken down and need to be protected.

We’re definitely a big team compared to Chelsea, need to make those set pieces count.

Why is that not a yellow card for deliberately blocking Raya’s kick. It’s a standard yellow

Now a clear as day corner not given to us

And we took the last free a couple of yards ahead of where it should have been.

Colwill with a clear yellow now. Shows the importance of the first yellow for stopping Raya’s kick. He wouldn’t have been able to make that tackle on Saka then

I'm not sure if it wise to leave White to deal with Neto by himself like that

Colwill does that every game. He puts himself into the keeper. He never gets booked for it. Maybe now he'll think twice.

Hate that part of var, we score, it is offside very marginally and now Chelsea crowd is massively lifted having been given a huge let off

White needs to needle Neto and get him a second yellow.

White yellow for blocking Neto, not much difference to Cucurella taking down Saka and Madueke deliberately tripping timber when he came out of defence.

Neto play acted and referee bought it

It’s small things that can really change momentum. Martinelli given offside when he was onside, stopped us having a corner then a really soft free kick on the edge of the box given for Chelsea. Thankfully we clear it

They've bought two yellows.

Jackson with another swan dive bought by the ref

The team is regressing as an attacking outfit. One good chance following a Chelsea mistake and that's it really. Martinelli should have scored and he's been missing chances all season. Double up on Saka and you stop Arsenal.

I don’t think Rice was booked for it

But given the level of card for White Chelsea should have had a couple more for deliberate trips.
2 corners not given, 2 dives given to them. It’s small things but it’s momentum and certainly set pieces when we have a big height advantage over them

Yep. His, let’s face it, awful form for months on end has also nullified the only pace outlet for the team as well. Disastrous.

We have to give him an overlap. Whenever we do someone has to take the runner and suddenly Saka is 1v1, he retains the ball well in most situations so the risk of us being caught on the counter is slim
