The bloke is 100% guilty. I heard the audio his then girlfriend released. He is a *%^@*** scumbag and should never play again. If any man treated my daughter like he is heard clearly treating his girlfriend, then I would not be responsible for my actions.

It's so depressing how misogyny and abuse is excused so readily.

If he did that to any of my daughters, kicking a football would be the least of his worries.

It's not about this year though. We are looking to next season. Balogun would have started very few games this season because he hadn't proven himself. It's much easier to rotate established players than kids. Grealish and Mahrez are frequently on the bench at City. If we have a good season next year we will play close to 60 games. This season we were talking about putting out weak teams in the cups to save the first 11 for the league. We needed more depth and an improved Balogun adds to that.

Ok then I guess how many games would Nketiah have got if Jesus hadn’t got injured and how many games would a third established striker have got before as well.

The grealish comparison just highlights what I’m saying. 3 city wingers competing for 2 spots. We would have 3 strikers competing for 1. Many games would involve 1 of the 3 not getting any minutes at all.

You are talking about how it would be good for us which it would but I’m suggesting you can’t keep those 3 happy in Artetas system with 1 up front.

Isn’t that the pint though? We’re forced to play some combinations because that’s they only options available. Surely this just gives us more?

Players will always come and go but having the squad depth until they decide to leave is surely a good thing

Absolute bollocks. Not a shred of evidence it is true. Furthermore rumours are they are back together. It may have happened it may not. Photos and audios on the internet are not evidence. Trial by internet does not have a good track record.

Are you sure. I thought we had one game to be played before we played them according to the BBC.

Those things absolutely are evidence, and is exactly what the courts would have been assessing had it gone to trial. Much much more than a shred. Proof is what you might mean, which doesn’t really exist.

I have a daughter and honestly the bloke would be an absolute dead man I swear to you. Prison wouldn’t even be a consideration.

Even worse is that it’s alleged she might have gone back to him. In which case I’d frankly make it clear to the daughter it’s me or him.

We play Everton (a), Brentford (h) then we play City (h), then Villa (a), Leicester (a). All those other 4 games kick of before City’s fixture that same week

Mudryk subbed off at half time in Chelsea’s game. Not watching it but seen a few people say he hasn’t displayed much defensive side to his game and left Cucurella exposed a bit

Willian looked an entirely different entity from the lethargic, un-interested, short-timer that we had to put up with. Mudryk...early I know, but if Emile Smith Rowe gets back to where he was I don't see a great loss. Madueke when he came on looked dangerous, and seemed to be a similar type player - for what a third of the Mudryk fee? Must admit it was fun to see Boehly squirming in his seat, watching his squillions of pounds investments struggle to score against the mighty Fulham!

Apparently Mudryk was subbed off due to being a bit ill. A cold.

Just read that Aubameyang is dropped from Chelsea's ECL squad. That's karma for him

Yes, it seems he only played two Tests. Still, it's quite impressive that the bloke who scored the goal against Tottenham that put Carlisle top of the league (briefly) in 1974 also played Test cricket against the West Indies in 1976.

A hypothetical home grown 11. You can only name 17 ‘foreign’ players in your 25 man squad, it pays massively to have the best home grown talent in there. It’s a big reason I think the move for Rice in the summer makes sense.

I'm a dad with a daughter and if Mason Greenwood was accused of doing that I would probably issue loads of angry threats and then remember he's a third of my age and probably quite a lot harder than me.

Thankfully the chief henchman Godfrey is out so I'm looking forward to a hard but not overdirty game.

Put tall big targets upfront, pump balls into the 6 yard box. Simple enough strategy and I fear it will work.

Not unexpected - the new manager bounce. Hopefully they will burn themselves out and we can pick them off in the latter stages.

What is this *%^@ from the commentator!? Basically “I’m glad the referee is going to referee this differently because Everton have come to be overly physical. Refreshing to see.”

*%^@*** nonsense.

Is shirt pulling no longer a foul in association football? The passing has been really poor. Sluggish all round.

Is there any point in Martinelli being on the pitch?

A little less of the high risk stuff in our own half would be appreciated.

Even if he doesn’t get the ball he’s high and wide stretching the pitch.

They are the better side. We better come out 2nd half with a much improved plan of attack.

Oof. Bit nothingy. Conceding chances, wide players no space. No shots on goal I don’t think. Need some ideas. Game for Trossard in tight spaces as there’s no room to run in behind.

Pretty ordinary first half performance, hopefully we can make our quality count after the break.

Not great.

Everton have doubled up on Saka and Martinelli and taken them out of the game. Teams are increasingly doing this an we need to be quicker with our passing when space does open up.

That should mean there is space in the middle for others but we havn't been able to exploit it.

Calvert-Lewin is a big problem.
