Worst performance:
Middelsbourgh 2-1 Arsenal

Most rage inducing moment of the season:
Bendtner clearing it off the line from Cesc in CL

Best moment of the season:
Cesc's goal v Meelan

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your View:

Quick comment on Premiership campaign:
Beginning of season I predicted we finish third, so not too bad, but disapointing considering we were 5 points clear and doing so well. We really should have won it. Forget perspective, expectations change throughout the season and we have no excuses. The blessing in disguise is that it gives us the added experience and hunger to go on and win it next year.

Quick comment on Champions League campaign:
Not bad, not amazing. A bit like our league campaign in that it could have been so much better, but it wasnt meant to be against Liverpool. At the beginning of the season after I saw us win the Amsterdam cup I felt we were better equipped to win the CL than the EPL due to our style of football. But in all honesty after Paris 2006 I have said to myself we will never win this trophy so I dont have to stress that much.

Quick comment on domestic cups:
They were sacrificed for the league werent they? Next season we have to take them more seriously if we realistically want to win a trophy we so desperatley been lacking

Hopes for the summer (in's and out's):
Ben Arthur, Gomez, Flamini replacement, Dunne. I think that would be an excellent summer.

Top three players at other EPL Clubs you'd like to see at Arsenal:
Ribery. De Rossi. Benzema.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The manager:

On a scale of 1-10, how convinced are you that Wenger is still the man to lead us forward? ( 1 being not at all)
7. We have made an improvment, but we threw it all away so Wenger derserves criticsm. He should have signed a player to help the squad in Jan.

Any other quick comments on Wenger's performance:
His decison to not sign a winger last summer proved costly. Going another season trophyless is not good either. He also mis-managed the Brum situation and turned adversity into more adversity. Tactically he has been a bit better this season and has actually learnt that you have to be pro active with your substiutions. His most important season to date is about to come up

Your View:

Quick comment on Premiership campaign: Never thought we would win the PL as I predicted 3rd but hopes were raised in January. Wenger should have bought players in January and should not have sold Diarra.

Quick comment on Champions League campaign
I didn't think we would win it but very disaappointing to go out with 5 minutes to go.
Quick comment on domestic cups
Apart from CC, Wenger treated the FA cup with disrespect by playing a weakened side against Man U. It gave Man U the impetus to win the PL and after that result we never really recovered.

Hopes for the summer (in's and out's) I would like to see a central defender, winger, a goalkeeper and central midfielder. Hleb and Eboue to leave.

Top three players at other EPL Clubs you'd like to see at Arsenal: Richards, Queresma, Buffon and Essien.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The manager:

On a scale of 1-10, how convinced are you that Wenger is still the man to lead us forward? ( 1 being not at all) 7

Any other quick comments on Wenger's performance:
It was a disappointing summer last season as I felt we needed another winger after we sold Reyes. Bringing in Diarra was a masterstroke but not to last. Warning signs about the depth of the squad were revealed in the CL game at Seville but were not heeded. Wenger should have not sold Diarra and waited until the summer if he wanted to go. We achieved less than what I expected in the summer as I did not realise that Wenger would treat the FA cup with contempt. It was an ok season but not good enough.

Player Awards:
----------------------------------

Player of the Year: Sagna

Young Player of the Year:Walcott

Signing of the Year:Sagna

Biggest Waste of Space: Eboue

Most missed via injury:RVP

Unsung Hero:Lehmann

Cult Hero Award (who, when and why):No real individual personality in the side. I will give it to Wenger at least now he's won something this season!

Best Keeper and worst: Lehmann -not his best season with most of it spent on the bench, but he kept the score down in the league game at Sold Trafford with a couple of outstanding saves.

Best Defender and worst: Sagna best. No prizes for guessing who I think was the worst. If you haven't guessed though here is a clue . He's Swiss - he's clumsy - and he will soon be gone!

Best Midfielder and worst :Fabregas,an amazing player. Gilberto had a poor season. Played better when the pressure was off, but so did everyone else. Which needs some thinking about Arsene...

Best Striker and worst: Adedodat! His 2nd goal at spuds will live long in the memory. He's starting to act a little arrogantly though - and all that hopping and bopping about with TH might have taught him some bad habits... they text each other you know...
Worst striker Ademissdat at Brum and Wigan. He gets both awards - for the sublime - and the inept.

Goal of the season. Adedodat at spuds. Sublime !

Assist of the season: Walcott at Anfield. One of the best of all time.

Move of the season: 4th goal at Everton.

Most Improved player: Flamini. Arrividecci !

Favourite Player:Walcott

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Team Awards: I will give this a swerve .

Best Result of the season: Beating Chelsea

Best performance:AC Milan away.

Worst result of the season:Losing at Chelsea.

Worst performance:The draw at home with lowly Brum. Awful.

Most rage inducing moment of the season:The GBH by Taylor on Edourdo.

Best moment of the season: Going 5 points clear at the top of the league after beating Old Sparky's crew at the Emirates.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your View:

Quick comment on Premiership campaign:Disappointing in the end - after the early summer and autumn optimism turned into a winter of our discontent.

Quick comment on Champions League campaign. Not much luck again with the decisions by the whistleblowers - but defensively we were not up to winning it.

Quick comment on domestic cups . Crap.

Hopes for the summer (in's and out's) A proper winger. A dominating aerial type CB built like a brick sh*t-house and standing 6ft 6' in his socks. A top class GK. There's more chance though of Father Christmas from Selfridges coming down my chimney with a sack full of presents in December.

Top three players at other EPL Clubs you'd like to see at Arsenal: Torres; Drogba; Ronaldo. And there is more chance of spuds winning the league next season than that.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The manager:

On a scale of 1-10, how convinced are you that Wenger is still the man to lead us forward? ( 1 being not at all)

Any other quick comments on Wenger's performance:
A bit quirky, he got the big calls wrong - and they are what count.

Worst performance: 5-1 v Tottenham

Your View:

Quick comment on Premiership campaign: Excellent, but could do better.

Quick comment on Champions League campaign: Ultimately disappointing as it made me think we were once again the weakest mentally of the four english sides

Quick comment on domestic cups: Load of bollocks

Hopes for the summer (in's and out's): A true winger for the left side, a technically gifted nasty b****** for the midfield, another goalscorer and a big commanding CB

Top three players at other EPL Clubs you'd like to see at Arsenal: Torres, Ronaldo, Vidic

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The manager:

On a scale of 1-10, how convinced are you that Wenger is still the man to lead us forward? ( 1 being not at all)9

Any other quick comments on Wenger's performance: Does tend to make the same mistakes when things go wrong therefore making it easy for the press to have a go.

Very good descriptions of various locales around the green isle from John, Mee and Dec. All would be pretty good tour guides. :icon_wink1:
I'm impressed.

He'd be one to fit AW's youth development policy. If it happens.

Interesting Ex
Think samba would be the perfect '*%^@ kicker' for us but would welcome Cahill too.
Really hope lansbury makes it with us. The type of rayparlour character we need in the squad. So yes loan would be good

Two things have really caught my attention this week and I think they speak volumes about this Arsenal side:

Players throwing shirts into the crowd at the end of 90 minutes at Reading - Quite apart from the fact that we're now reduced to celebrating a draw with Reading how can our £6M a year manager have sent out a team that isn't briefed on the format of the match? Can anyone imagine Man U, Chelsea or any other top flight team making such an embarrassing, unprofessional error? What does the massive team of coaches at the club actually do?

Santos claiming RvP's shirt at half-time - Just a thought but is or team now so full of second rate journeymen like Santos that they consider old Trafford a day out? Should this overweight clown not have been more concerned with his horrific performance than claiming a f****g football shirt? Did any of our teams who actually won things do this or were they more concerned with winning the game in hand?

The point I'm trying to make here is that while I hate the board as much as anyone, when the team, coaches and management take such a half arsed approach to things is it any wonder that mistakes are repeated over and over? If the team looks like they're not trying its possibly because they're not trying because they're not motivated.

The Arsenal support deserve much much better than this...

I would love to get an unbiased internal opinion of what is happening with the club.

If Rooney were to come I would have preferred it happen while Fergie was still there but so be it. Thepersistent rumors are precisely why it will not be. His coming to us would hsve to be similar to Sol coming to us. Not a hint. Also its not like he is on a free. Man Utd would have to be involved. The only possible scenario in our favor is if he indicated Chelsea or City as his preference and they said absolutely not. Go abroad. He says he wants to stay in England and chooses us as the next option and Man Utd does a Ray Parlour and agrees "its only The Arsenal".

Did I mention I di not think there is any way in all the 7 kingdoms (note my Game of Thrones reference. I live that show) that he is coming to us. ;-)

Some. More like very very few and you try and pass it off as more than the odd person or two. Its so few it did not bear mentioning but you did try and make some point that no forum except a few with an agenda would support on here its silly DHD.
You can judge an SG forum opinion by how much it would laughed off any other forum immediately and this one is up there.

Was watching a dodgy stream and picture went with 10 min left.
Was praying we had scored and got a late winner but more in hope than expectation. Southampton very good defensively and despite being a dirty **** wanyama impressive.
Can see why they are not leaking goals with him and schnderlin in same midfield.
Was so happy when I saw we had scored!!!!
Massive 3 points.
S a n c h e z!!!!!
