Hi

This ones just for testing and getting people used to it for now. I might make a few minor changes to it and confirm it's all ok before doing the 'move'.

Diarra would have had more impact than Gilberto in midfield. Hope he stays. To many misplaced balls from midfield.

Was more worried about the home record...

Evening mate. Cant get on the other forum either-looks like its down (and has been for an hour). Tbh Diarra would have had more impact than Gilberto, Denillson and Diaby. That said I can live with the midfield because in Cesc and Flamini its strong-and any one of the three mentioned above playing alongside Cesc will still keep us competitive.

Its the defence that scares the absolute shite out of me tbh! I was hopeful Djourou would come back a better player-but tonight he was f**king woeful. Tbh Senderos was a little better but still looks scared s***-less whenever the ball comes anywhere near him. All I can say is that over the next few weeks William Gallas becomes our most important player-because lets make no mistake here-if we have to go into any game with a Senderos/Djourou pairing we're-how can I put this-absolutely f**ked!!!!

Interesting quirk with the new swear filter!!!

I thought the midfield let us down tonight. Make no mistake Tottenham were well up for it and probably deserved to win. Diaby is very talented but has a naivety at times that leads him to hold onto the ball a bit too long. Gilberto looks well off the pace. We got lucky with our goal but they all count and I'm delighted they didn't beat us at home.

Gaz, Berbatov was the best player on the pitch, he was superb tonight.

Thought Diaby was our best player tonight, the two boys from Brazil were truly shocking, Berbatov was majestic 1st half, but the commentators 2nd half might as were pure putrid with their praise of Berbatov, one outstanding comment, "great flick by Berbatov|" it went out for a throw. Bit of balance.

Henry says he will return home one day>>

"It doesn't matter what happens with my new club, I will never find the same affection that I was shown at Arsenal" he told Sky Italia.

"To play for Arsenal for eight years, winning or losing at Highbury, the joy, the sadness, everything was simply incredible.

"You often return to the place that you belong and, therefore, I hope one day to be able to work with the club.

"I have the club in my blood - I always follow Arsenal when they play and I'm happy when they win.

"I'm proud to have played for Arsenal and to be a fan. Before I didn't support any club, but now I'm an Arsenal fan and it's difficult for me to not follow the matches."

Hi

I fixed them - it's the same as the 'old' forum - just needs the Quote in square brackets before and the /Quote in Square brackets after.

A la:
Code:

I have devised a registration trick to fool spambots. Now, when new members register, they will need to answer a simple question
instead of entering in a Captcha code which is sometimes difficult to read. (That's the crappy writing that people have to type in to prove their human.) Spambots will be unable to answer this easy question as they have no logic and are merely programmed to defeat the dated capcha trick so they will not be able to come in here to post their spam.

I'll take that as a yes. Just two questions for the mods....

1) How do I get my little 'jigger' on this site?
2) When you post what do you click on to get back to the forum where you left it?
3)..........

Team Performances for Arsenal v Birmingham Emirates Stadium 12 January 2008

Alminia - Played well good save in first half and not much hope with the goal, not much else to do really.

Sagna - Another very good performance

Clichy - Quality, though a few mis=plaed passes towards the end when frustration was getting the better of the side in atatcking areas

Gallas - Solid

Sendy- Very good game

Cesc - Running at about 75%

Flamini - Another good game was everywhere.

Hleb - So classy and looks to be getting back to where he left off in the first half at Villa

Walcott - Felt sorry for him. Crowd willing him to do well, but fell short in match.

Eduardo - Was not in the game for large parts, but showed class when involved.

Ade - Once again was everywhere, battling and some good passing and lovely flicks, took his penalty well, right in the corner.

Subs..

Bendtner - Did OK, though wild shot at the end could have done better
Diaby - did not really have time to make impact

Ref watch - Thought he was superb, that's two good refs in two matches, are things looking up...
