Liverpool's press is brilliant.

Surely looking at Liverpool’s fullbacks give us hope ? Totally affordable

Competent, not perfect but tons of energy and enthusiasm. Keep it simple. Really this is all we need

They're a bit better than competent to be fair. Arnold is a cracking player.

Bit of a snore fest so far. Spurs had some dangerous opportunities but lacking quality in final third. I'd be raging if that pen was given against Arsenal, penalty decision for that is harsh imo.

He is, but I remember him being a liability for them when they came to our place and we should have won. Him and the Brazilian chap in midfield whose name escapes me. We got change out of them both all game. Not completely dissimilar to Bellerin vs Dortmund where he had a shocker on debut. Both have made the step from academy player to first team and that’s gold dust we need lots of over the next few seasons.

I was hoping for a meteor strike, but I don’t really want to joke about disaster right now. Liverpool one more goal and stifle the life out of the game will do. Just make it no fun at all. How miserable - what has football done to me..

I'd like to see a decent game hopefully will improve second half.

Nope. I'm happy to sit through 45 minutes of boring shite if Liverpool win.

There was so much drama in the semi's hopefully no more tonight. But, with half an hour left anything could happen.

City players must be watching this with big regrets. And Messi must be wondering why Barca couldn't organise a defence.

So much just launched long. Being kind I think we're seeing two semi competent defences. Milner nearly wins it for Liverpool.

The heat must have had a huge bearing on the game.

If Origi starts to do this regularly for Liverpool and turns out to be a bargain I'll not be pleased I'll tell you now.

No-one tell me the score.

I’m watching it on Match of the Day later.

Cheers

Yes but from the relief of Sp*rs not winning, i’ve now got to endure days and days of Scousers going on and on. And that’s just the wife’s family.

Eh? Strange way of avoiding the score. :icon_wink:

Even MOTD will struggle to put together enough interesting bits for a programme.

Congrats Liverpool, feel free to retire now. Van Dyke if he has any substance as a human being should take on a real challenge now. You know what I'm talking about.

A poor attempt at a joke.

And the self congratulating texts from Scousers are already piling in. Even the ones that don’t give a *%^@ on a normal Saturday, and although they live within 5 miles of the ground, wouldn’t know how to get to Anfield if everything was laid on for free for them.
(Although tbf not all of them are like that - my wife’s ok, even though she needs me to show her where Anfield is )

No I don't John. It's hard not to look at it without a suspicious eye though. Liverpool press harder than any other team. They have been almost injury free and you have a guy like Milner covering every corner of the pitch.

Now that it's over and the shots of Stevie G being happy, I can revert to hating Liverpool again

:laughing7: :laughing7: ... Johnny Boy .. one of your best ...sitting on a FOOTBALL forum and say don't tell me the score .

Son had a dream few weeks back where he saw Liverpool holding up the trophy .... went out and slapped $100 on them .. won $475 .

Not one to get my rocks off laughing at other teams misfortunes to cover my team's inadequacies

...... but seeing Tottenham despondent is a hell of a lot better than seeing them high fiving . :laughing7:
