Yeah, both him and Iwobi needs to improve their consistency. For all the talk about our defense, Tottenham are starting Juan Foyth in central defense. Only his fourth Premier League game, he might be a weakness.

Great start, anyway.

Bright start from us, and what on earth was Vertonghen doing on that corner?

Nice. Stupid handball to give us a penalty. And Aubameyang said thank you very much. 1-0

Aubameyang! 1-0 quick start early goal

Excellent. Clear pen. Glad we have Mike Dean because he’s one of the few refs brave enough to make those decisions - not to say he gets them all right

Aaaargh. Almost 2-0. Aubameyang, after Iwobi had dithered with a super opportunity

Arsenal all over spurs back 4. Foyth has a mistake in him no doubt. Vertongen looks rusty. And iwobi and Kolasinac are getting Aurier 2v1

That’s where iwobi needs to improve. 1v1 against the last defender he can go inside or outside and get a shot away and he does neither really. Hazard in that situation scores quite often

An another ‘almost 2-0’. This time from Iwobi. Absolutely hammering them. Hope we don’t run out of steam.

So annoying to be level. We’ve totally dominated this game.

Never a free kick
Now a pen, no contact that I can see

Fuming at mike dean. He’s totally turned this game on it’s head with two terrible decisions

We need to just keep going the way we started the game. Nothing we can do about the ref, time to show character.

We need to get in the box and thro ourselves down at every opportunity because if mike dean is giving pens for that you’d get 5/6 a game

Bellerin was struggling with the ball, and all Mkhitaryan does is hang back and watch. Lazy player.

Be interesting to look at the offside line for the first spurs goal. Looked very tight, quite a Few spurs players ahead of the line the question is whether someone on the far side played them on

Impressive first half from us. We've been really hard done by here, apart from missing a couple of chances we've done everything right. Couple of bad decisions from the ref not only gave them the lead but momentum and energy as well.

We can still win this though, we're creating plenty of chances and look good defensively.

Feel totally cheated in that half of football. Arsenal the dominant team, started fast, deserved lead ahold have made it 2 a couple of times.
Dean gives a soft free kick and Leno makes a bad mistake then Dean imagines a penalty. Absolutely robbed and the game is turned on it’s head.

I wish someone would come iut and call out this ref for what he is in arsenal games. The stats are there and it is shocking. Dean is too ready to give a big decision so it can be all about him.

That’s what I thought, never saw a replay. Dier very late on Torreira should have been a yellow, never saw a replay of that either, Mkhitaryan hauled over on the line when spurs player tried to shield it out clear foul, then they go up the other end and get the ‘pen’ which I’ve yet to see any clear contact on. I’m nt saying we’re being robbed but these decisions have swung a vey tight game which we were dominating. If Aubameyang can stay onside just once we might have a chance yet. So frustrating. Lots of really good play from everyone. Son from the ball over the top is the biggest threat.

I did think sok just plonked his foot on the back of Son’s calf for he free kick though. Clumsy. This team would go up leaps and bounds with a CB like Koulibaye or someone similar.

Annoying that the comma arepraising an amazing reaction from spurs. They scored from a spawny free kick and a dive for a penalty. There was no reaction they got lucky and arsenal have dominated the game.

Dean giving a penalty against arsenal was as nailed on a bet as you’re going to get. When was the last time we were awarded a penalty away to one of the big 6?

Holding on Son has been slowed down to super slow mo and it is impossible to see any contact - if there is it is the faintest and undetectable the the human eye at that speed - but Dean is certain it is a foul. He’s guessing because he wants to give the pen. He desperately doesn’t want to be seen as a ref who bottles big decisions by doing nothing - but what that means is he effects results of games more than a passive ref

Totally agree. Playing a high line with Holding, Sok and Mustafi is fraught with danger and the Spuds exposed us on several occasions. That's the main area that needs addressing, preferably asap.

Mkhitaryan and Iwobi off. Agree on Mkhitaryan, Iwobi not so.

That’s what I thought, never saw a replay. Dier very late on Torreira should have been a yellow.

Dier got a last warning for that foul on Torreira, Dier was then booked for his over zealous celebration - which should be an isolated booking to his last chance warning for the fouls because the celebration warrants a booking no matter what has happened previously......therefore Dier should still be on his last warning for a yellow card - which would be his second. No chance Dean views it like that, Dean I guarantee will have let dier foul all the way to a brink of a yellow then book him separately and see that as resetting dier’s foul clock. Nonsense

Dele Alli is a right tart. Wouldn’t last long in the Isthmian League!

Very soft yellow for Xhaka. Unbelievable when you compare it to Dier’s late one on Torreira

Too much irritation from our players, they need to keep their cool. Doesn't matter if the frustration is warranted or not, it wil not help us.
