Finished watching the replay and it looked like shat it was. A disjointed team that had barely played a minute together. Got the win and some playing time for a few players.

Was the 'i' in the penultimate word of the sentence deliberate, or should it have been an 'a'?

Paraguayan from Atlanta MLS set to arrive in January as possible replacement for Ramsey. Cost £11.

It Wouldn't surprise me to see Emery move for Ever Benega either in Jan or the summer

According to this Benega doesn't seem all that keen on the idea.

Could have been worse - artichokes?

A cabbage is very funny. It's really a statement.

Artichoke? I can imagine such an article being lobbed from the prawn sandwich brigade sections.

Or even broccoli ... followed by Wenger invading the pitch with tears streaming down his face to rescue it. "Sacre blue, mon ami, je vien!"

Banega would be an Arteta-esque signing. To borrow a Wenger's phrase, I would love to see any of our young player such as Smith-Rowe or AMN being the "internal solution". That being said, Almiron looks like a very good player - has the same left-legged mannerisms of RvP.

Almiron at £11M. Not the £11 as stated earlier. So if Benega declining interest, then Almiron could be the one.

Sigarosson's goal against Leicester: Bergkampeque is the only way to describe it!

Makes compelling viewing. Do the Mancs have what it takes to fight back?

I hope not. Although I’d quite like Mourinho to remain in place (much like, for many years, many opposition supporters hoped that Arsene would remain in place).

It's looking like Jose will get the highly lucrative sacking compensation package he's been after.

3-2 Sanchez. The geordies have blown it.

Cardiff player Ralls got a straight red for a deliberate foul as a spurs player runs past him, he’s 45 yards from his own goal, on the touch line with another defender covering. Reminded me of Xhaka’s random red v Swansea that at the time and since he seemed to be the only player to get done like that

Not sure if I prefer to be bias about it, but, I seem to see English refs keen to favour Spurs. And on the flip-side, they seem keen to punish Arsenal.

Went back to look at the Xhaka one again. The Cardiff player's one is far worse, Ralls takes Moura at knee level with a lot more force. Xhaka's is a trip on the ankle. Totally baffling decision still

There is more than enough in this for us, our forward players have the beating of their defence if we play it right. The single danger is Mitrovic on the longer ball, we need to get 2 men around him and make sure we pick up the second balls

It’s all coming from down our left side, great overlap from Monreal, good pull back, control and rolled his defender by Lacazette then smashed in the bottom corner

Iwobi playing so well. Full of confidence and making defender look silly with his quick feet, pace and directness. Fans singing his name

There is something very likeable about a lot of the players in this starting 11, hard work, tactically smart, disciplined, honest, playing for the short. Monreal, holding, Torreira, iwobi, Welbeck, Lacazette

Iwobi is playing with confidence.
Random thought: Iwolbeck would be world class.
