I mean we are 2-1 down in a game where we have dominated possession but look like conceding every time we lose the ball because our defence is about a useful as a chocolate teapot.

Might as well have stuck with Wenger.

Great goal by Lacazette, who was having a poor match. The front three look good on paper but they are not a cohesive unit at all yet. Only half the team are playing to a decent level.

Why did Emery not put priority into getting a top central defender? It is so clear we are very weak there. Luiz is a knee jerk buy, and not a solid one at that.

Torreira and Kolasinac too. I think everyone was worried about Kola but he's been fine.

Annoying result. Sokratis, Xhaka and, to a lesser extent Leno, were very poor. Aubameyang was very good and Guendouzi was superb. Pépé needs time to settle and hopefully he will be a good player for us but today he was extremely wasteful.

Subbing off Torreira was weird for me and I groaned when Mkhitaryan came on and was suitably ineffective.

Xhaka should be dropped.
