I thought I heard the announcer say it was his 15th goal against us, can't be sure if I heard him right. If that's so, I actually thought it would be more.

Exactly what we all feared. If you’re on a long winless run just welcome arsenal to town. You can smash in to us, win the crowd back and be sure we will shoot ourselves in the foot by missing chances.

Čech nearly caught on it now. Talk about giving the crowd what they want!

Can Arsenal come back from a goal down. A real test of mental fortitude of the team, again :20hospitals:

Clarified on bbc
“Only arsenal can be behind when they’ve had three 1 on 1’s and only faced one shot”

Of course we can. I've never been more certain of anything. This team will win handsomely.

Trust us to have the worst ref in the prem in a game we should win easily.

He’s certainly been pretty favourable to the Home team so far. Aggressive snapping tackles by Everton allowed to go.

How can we be so predictable? You just knew this is how the start of this game would go.
We give the opposition and opposition fans absolutely any opportunity to ‘get up for it’. Low on confidence? Just feed off pathetic arsenal.

Ramsey getting even further forward than Lacazette. Leaving central midfield so bare away from home.

As long as Kolasinac and Bellerin keep filling in for him it won't be a problem.

That was a foul on Xhaka for me but I have no sympathy for him, he gets caught all the time he’s got to be dropped now no matter what else he brings which is really good distribution when he’s got time and pace. Under pressure he’s a lumbering liability.

All the early fizz has gone out of our game now.

Crowd are well up for it, cheering every time a block is made and Everton players just feeding off it and running harder and tackling more.

The exact scenario I predicted before the game.

They’re on the touch lines, 35 yards from Xhaka isolated in the centre

It was going to be a matter of when not if we scored.

More shots on target than any away side so far this season.

Pickford and our poor finishing has kept this from being 4-1

Arsenal move the ball forward, player about to turn and run dangerously at the back 4, ref blows for half time.

Both teams seem to be playing with only 1 central mid. 5-1-4 formations.

We have sliced trough them more times than all our other away games out together. The game should be done and dusted but how often do we say that at half time when the opposition has scored from their only chance

Need to concentrate and avoid conceding another one. Attacking wise we are doing well creating chances.

I think we've played pretty well and been much the better team. A combination of Pickford being excellent and some poor final balls (Bellerin particularly) has kept us to only one goal.
And of course a bit of sloppy play in midfield from Xhaka and Wazza punishes us.
But, if we keep up the level we've played at so far we should bury them in the second half.

17 shots from us in that half. 9 on target and at least4 of them being 1v1 with the gk. I have never seen us have so many shots in a half. How are we not winning?

Ref is very good. He is letting the game flow and it is suiting us. The players need to manage the game and run at Idris and Williams. Both are good for a second yellow.

I’d be amazed if Koeman doesn’t stiffen up his central midfield at half time

Davies on, Williams off. Back 4 with the extra body in midfield

Ramsey misses an easy one after great work from Kos down the wing.

We deservedly lead but this should be a cricket score by now
