Arteta has done his best to *%^@ up Saliba and now appears to be doing the same thing with Martinelli. He wasn't even picking Martinelli before his injury so clearly he does not rate him. He is hardly nurturing his or Saliba's talents.

I've had it with Arteta, he talks the talk but all I see from him is poor man management, questionable team selections, poor substitutions and favoritism.

I want Arteta gone........the sooner the better. There, I've said it.

Got a lot of sympathy with your view Soc. I can’t really work it out. Ultimately young managers unless they are humble enough to have someone very experienced alongside them tend to make all these sorts of mistakes. Arteta for all his likability, communication and Arsenal credentials comes across as very intense, stubborn, a little arrogant and obviously inexperienced. I’ll say what I’ve said all along, next season is what I’ll judge him on. Success would be top four or very near there. Two and a half seasons feels enough to at least steady the ship. And for an inexperienced manager in your first job you surely have to give them longer than you would normally.

Contrary to TGs nonsense about Martinelli he’s had far far fewer chances than Willian, has admittedly looked a bit up and down, but his ups eclipse anything Willian has done. Simple pass to Tierney on the edge of the box for him to do all the work and score included.

Martinelli is coming back from a serious knee injury that kept him on crutches for 6 months

How hard is it to understand that he’s not ready to do 90 minutes in a game like this.

An opponent getting a few extra chances to make a few fouls without getting a yellow. Arsenal players get booked for these sorts of fouls all the time. Pépé is beating Thomas often and Thomas should be in the book

Smith-Rowe more involved when playing in the middle, Willian hasn't looked that bad either. Honestly, this front line is playing quite well so far

Yet another foul on Pépé. It’s like watching Grealish.

The bias in commentary is awful.
Pépé clearly fouled by Soyuncu. Comms say of course Pépé will make the most of it, it’s ‘just’ a body check. Pépé just came up against a brick wall’

And the foul on Pépé leads to a goal (unless VAR comes out of the bushes again).

Much better play but it took going down a goal to get us to play better.
Pépé giving that Leicester player fits.

We deserved that. I think we've played well, the sloppy goal against excepted. And we deserved it for the umpteenth foul on Pépé who Leicester are chopping down every time he has the ball.

Luiz needs to spend the rest of the game running at Thomas. He has the beating of him.

After Thomas finally got booked the commentator said ‘if anything he’s unlucky because he’s slipped’

I find so many co-commentators and pundits have their narrative set before the match or any incident.

And another VAR wait.

Superb driving run by Willian that led to the situation.

No messing Lacazette. Especially against a keeper with such presence.

Thankfully the referee is Tierneys' 3rd cousin once removed.

It’s true, I can deny it no longer, I saw Willian do something really good. Let’s hope it’s his Renaissance.

Very impressed with this half, made it difficult for ourselves but we've taken control and fully deserve the lead.

Lacazette needed that. Hopefully it ignites him for more.

What a turnaround.

It was a clearer penalty than the first. Very composed penalty from Capt Lacazette.

Willian is playing well. And Pépé is the "Saka" for us today.

I have always found a radio commentary to be out of synch with a tv stream to the extent that you’ll know what’s happened before you see it.

Good to see the mental fortitude of the team getting stronger nowadays. We just have to keep believing. Thursday was a great comeback. And now this! Keep the concentration and focus in the 2nd.

Very good 1st half, goal apart.

Some nice slick interplay.

Willian very good.

Leicester not great by their standards so will probably be better 2nd half.

He’s featured in 9 games this season and done nothing

Btw we’re winning.
