Ah yes. There is that.

I will do. At half time.

At first viewing it looked like he was miles late and just brought the player down to stop him getting away. Was it not like that?

He slid in in front of him. Blokey vaulted him and took the opportunity to go down. There was no real contact. It wasn’t dangerous and with cover behind him, it wasn’t denying a scoring movement. No card there.

In my opinion, of course.

Well if Luiz is going to make a lash up then it’s as well to give it to Walcott.

Luiz got away with one there. Fortunately Walcott's ball was even worse.

Was just about to say we've lost the initiative a little! Great play from Lacazette, and well taken by Saka

Brilliant.

And with that obvious attempt to pull him back, any thought on a card?

Edit - no wonder players go down. That would’ve been a red.

Smith Rowe looking super dangerous. Just what we need.

Keeps them occupied.

Good first half. Southampton are a very good team, there's a reason why they're in such a good league position. Very hard to play against, their pressing game is among the better in the league

They aren’t pressing to anywhere near the intensity of Saturday. That game seems to have been a higher priority than tonight

Not sure if you’re joking it’s Keown. But The commentator was adamant it wasn’t a pen. Both omitted to say the defender had hold of his arm. Whatever they just pissed Saka off. C’mon Arsenal!

Much better energy going forward today. Pépé is linking better with the team today.

In my opinion, of course.

Just watched it again. Pretty well as you described it. Not sure that the attacker could have avoided him though.

No intention to play the ball by Bellerin.

Think Bellerin slid in well ahead of the man, to where he expected the ball to be - but it wasn’t there. There was no intention to play the man though. No card for me.

Yes, I would play him ahead of Bellerin on the right once Tierney is back. Better at getting into good positions, and just makes more things happen

If the hierarchy want competition for Tierney, that’s what it looks like.
