Not a free kick in the first place.

Ridiculous decision compounded by a farcical yellow.

Our play is getting a bit helter skelter.

It’s too slow. Waiting for an opening that isn’t coming.

Craig pawson does have eyes and they work. Yellow for Xhaka.

Eze’s decision making too negative.

Not a game you can bring on Dowman to change it and surely beyond Harriman Annous. Leaves Ethan as the only player to bring on to affect it up top.

It looked very dodgy.

He's been really poor. I don't know if that's down to what he's been instructed or himself struggling with the expectancy of playing for Arsenal. He's not finding space and often gets in the way of his teammates. He needs to be quicker in thought and more direct. That would give Saka more room.

It's hard to see how Arteta can change it with early subs. We just have to keep plugging away, and keep the back door firmly shut.

What did I say about a ref buying absolutely everything from the home team?

That yellow for Zubimendi just gets more and more egregious. I can’t see us winning this tbh. The way Sunderland players were smashing around and then winning soft free kicks. Do refs do any training about home bias do you think??

We look a little bit off so far against a tough well drilled team who are defending like theirs lives are in the line. Interesting to see how we respond this half as we don’t have many attacking options to bring on

I think you could do something weird where you sub Zubimendi for Ethan and pull rice back.

Dowman would feel like desperation

A little more penetration this half, but woeful finishing. I hope we can keep up the sharpness.
