Yeah. He's a very clever player and great technique.

Every contact is a foul for this ref.

Just lacks that pace in behind or down the channel to play that way tactically.

The player that springs to mind with him is always David Platt. pretty average on the ball outside the box, lethal inside it,

Nørgaard gets the most b%*&s%*^ yellow I’ve ever seen after some great play and getting fouled himself. This ref is *%^@.

He did have some! He just got older. He also had the touch and technique of an emperor-god so he didn’t need it!

Harriman-Annous! Only thing is the young players always come on when the team is significantly weaker.

We've committed 11 fouls and have 4 yellows. They have 23 fouls and 1 yellow! What is the ref thinking?

One of the least penalty penalty call I have seen for while.

2 involved contact to the head. Continental refs tend to come down hard on that. Thought he was persnickety but ok.

Conceded a last minute shot on target though TG. Just not good enough.

Arteta out.

Arsenal’s next six fixtures:

Sunderland (a)
Tottenham (h)
Bayern Munich (h)
Chelsea (a)
Brentford (h)
Aston Villa (a)

we desperately need some of the injured players back,

even just having madueke and Ødegaard fit would be a massive boost for spurs

Nketiah with the opening goal for palace against Dynamo Kiev. Really chuffed for him. Hope he can find some love there.
Edit: it was actually the second goal..

These ‘european handballs’ are ridiculous. We benefitted from one that would never get given in the premier league.

Controversy in the Liverpool v Real Madrid game, ref gave a handball, question whether it’s inside or outside the box and var overturn it correctly in my view as the Real Madrid player blocking the ball has his arms close to his body and down by his side - clattenburg on comms disagreeing but that’s utter nonsense, that cannot be handball

Spurs have been dealt an incredibly easy set of 8 CL fixtures
Villarreal (h)
Bodo/Glimt (a)
Monaco (a)
Copenhagen (h)
PSG (a)
Prague (h)
Dortmund (h)
Frankfurt (a)

Compare that to our 8
Athletic Bilbao (a)
Olympiacos (h)
Atletico Madrid (h)
Prague (a)
Bayern (h)
Brugge (a)
Inter (a)
Kairat (h)
3 clubs with genuine CL pedigree plus Bilbao. Spurs got very lucky with their draw

Yes. They are racking up a few cards now they are down to 10. Neuer has been pushing his luck in time wasting. Got a card but ref should have courage if he continues to do so.

So are set pieces now perfectly ok to score from now Liverpool have beaten Real Madrid with a set piece?
They scored a late set piece to beat Atletico and scored set pieces to beat Frankfurt.
Can we do a champions league table minus the set pieces like we were subjected to in the prem?

Oh wait, yes 2nd Oct, that was me, I watched part of a replay thinking it was live :1laughter:

If that was the most senior thing I’d done today that would have been embarrassing!
